In order to simplify the connection from NAPLES Capodichino Airport (NAP) to the Conference site in PAESTUM (120 Km) we are coordinating a shuttle service. The cost of the service will be of 60,00 Euro (one way) per person.
The drivers will not accept money. The payment will be due at the registration desk.
It will allow you to reach directly Paestum in shorter time - about 1h30min - than the 3 hours and more due to the public transport and multiple connections required to reach the conference site.
Standard direct connection by taxi from Naples would be about 200,00 Euro.
If you choose to come with public transport, consider that there are no trains arriving late in the evening in Paestum and be aware to book at your hotel a connection service from Paestum railway station to the hotel (4-5 Km) because there is no taxi service (no services at all) in Paestum station.
In order to use shuttle service, booking is mandatory. There will be no possibility to get the Shuttle without reservation.
Shuttles will arrange participants in groups according to their schedule.

For Participants arriving in Rome, we suggest to travel by train at least to Salerno, where we also can arrange a direct connection to the Conference site.
If you arrive by plane:
The best airport to land is Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP)
about 120 km from Paestum.
From Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP) take Alibus service or taxi to Naples railway station (Central Station - Piazza Garibaldi), about 30 minutes.
Alibus: The company provides a daily service, including holidays, with a frequency of 20 minutes. The ticket, which costs € 3.00 each way, can also be purchased on board with a supplement of € 1.00 each. The ride to Piazza Garibaldi lasts about 20 minutes. The first departure from the Airport is at 06:30, the last around 23:30.
Taxi: You can ask for a fixed fee from the Airport to the Central Station (about € 16,00).
We advise against taking a taxi from Naples to Salerno or Paestum. The price may be more than 200€!.
From Naples train station (Central Station - Piazza Garibaldi) to Paestum (about 1h 40min)

You can find regional/local trains directly to Paestum.
If you choose fast trains from Naples, you need to change to local trains in Salerno.
If you arrive by train to Paestum railway station, please inform the hotel of your arrival and they will provide direct car connection to the hotel. Paestum is a very small station and no services are available once there.
Savoy provides such services only for guests staying at Savoy or Esplanade.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) "Leonardo Da Vinci":
Leonardo Express train to Rome Termini railway station.
The Leonardo Express, departs every 30 minutes (epartures every 15 minutes at times of increased traffic flow. First departure from Rome Termini 5:50 and last departure at 22:50, first departure from Fiumicino Airport 6:38and last at 23:38. The Leonardo Express is guaranteed even in the event of a strike.
From Rome Termini railway station, you can get Paestum by train Frecciarossa (AV) Rome - Salerno (about 2h, reservation at http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en) and then by regional train leaving from Salerno (south direction) in about 35 min.
If you arrive by car: From the North-Italy drive along the A1 highway to Rome and then to Naples. From Naples drive along the A3 highway to Salerno and then towards Reggio Calabria. Take "Battipaglia" exit and drive along the SS18 way to Paestum. If you arrive from the South, drive along the A3 highway to Salerno and take "Eboli" exit. Drive along the SS18 way to Paestum.
