RESEARCH ADVANCES AND APPLICATIONS

The main issue of the workshop will be to exchange ideas and experience, in the framework of the application and consequences of the new EC Directive 59/2013/EURATOM for what it concerns Radon, its risk assessment and NORM for building materials.
The workshop will gather experts from different stakeholders (academic institutions, regulatory bodies, private and public companies) from Europe and Italy. Invited plenary keynote talks by leading experts and renowned scientists, a special session on NORM in Environmental Sciences and Enginneering Applications, round-table discussion among scientists, policy makers, regulators and professionals as well as informative technical exhibitions and poster session, and social events are organized during the workshop.
The workshop will take place, from 15 to 17 October 2015, at the Fisciano Campus, University of Salerno, Italy, in the neighbourhood of the beautiful hystorical city of Salerno and the gorgeous Amalfi and Cilento coasts.
